I had the pleasure of photographing this really talented and dynamic couple on the North Shore of Oahu, in Haleiwa. Mahina is a beautiful model and Nalu recently starred as an actor in the movie One Kine Day, which was filmed on Oahu. The film won the Audience Choice Award for Narrative Feature from the 2010 Hawaii International Film Festival and was selected to be a part of the 2011 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.

Virginia and Matthew in Sarasota, Florida
I love photographing other photographers! Knowing that Virginia and Matthew are both talented photographers based in Sarasota, Florida, I knew that this session would be perfectly captured with film photography.
To top it off, this month has been a really exciting one for both Virginia and Matthew. Virginia was featured on the cover of Sarasota’s Herald Tribune’s Ticket, where they wrote an article about Black Diamond Burlesque where Virginia stars as Miss Petite Coquett. She is also a fine art photographer who loves pinup.
As if that wasn’t enough, Matthew Holler’s fashion photography also got published on the cover of May’s issue of Sarasota Magazine! Congratulations to you both for so many exciting things on the horizon, and thank you for such a fun session with you both!
All of these images were shot on FujiPro 400H 135 film with a Canon EOS 1V camera.
